“WAY TRUE LIFE” is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered charitable Society.  Working among the poor and underprivileged Street Children, Women and Community Empowerment and Community Health, Development projects in slum area. Working to create lasting change in the lives of Children, Women families and communities living in poverty and injustice Cities Transformation. Mumbai, Thane District.

Organization that has been working with the Child and Woman’s care is a key focus in all the work that “WAY TRUE LIFE” does.

“WAY TRUE LIFE” Main Aims & Objects is every Child, women and Community gate their rights, we work thought 1) Education, 2) Health, 3) Advocacy, 5) Rehabilitation, 4) Community Development /Empowerment.

Location of Project: Kalyan, Vittalwadi Railway Stn, Ghatkoper Slum and Nearest Remote Areas.

WAY TRUE LIFE’s Current running Projects are following-                             

• Street Children Project – We era working with Street Children to reduce the number of children from becoming street children. Kids given/ provided Food (Nutrition), Cloths, Non formal Education, health care & Counseling to them for stable life style. The children are sent in other Children homes and 25 children to be resettled back to their homes. Non formal Education: We work in drugs addict Street Children near Kalyan / Vittalwadi station. Who live on street, platform and Station and near railway station slum.

• Community Child and Woman Health Development Project- Working in community Children, women and Youth Center (Balwadi) (play school, nursery, Jr Kg, Sr Kg, and tuitions) Child Empowerment and Community Health awareness, job placement, advocacy program, vocational trainings, legal right program especially Ration Issue Rights, and other  project, officially established as a project of, “WAY TRUE LIFE” is situated in the slum lies on the near Kalyan, Vittalwadi Railway station and Ghatkoper Ramabai community.

• Educational Project:  We are running Pre School, Balwadi for poor children who living in community (Slum) and Stn. Kids provided quality Education to them. Through qualified teachers, teaching aids and material , Food (Nutrition), Cloths, , health care & Counseling to them for stable life style and if there is any drop out children from school we send them again in the school and for their bright future we send them at boarding school. Tuition: After-school helps for poor children in their studies.

• Advocacy : We are working with Community, Child, legal documents and Women basic rights to them.(e.g. Ration right)

• Women’s programs: 1) Vocational Tailoring classes for women. 2) Self help group. 3) Adult literacy and women rights, legal information Trainings.

• Health Awareness: We do awareness programme in a community about HIV / AIDS, TB and other sickness, arrange medical camps, rally on AIDS day. Free health check up for children and women from community. Provide medical care children, women and follow up.

All these activities are undertaken completely within the Kalyan, Vithalwadi, and Ghatkoper and remote areas community (slums) in the Thane and Mumbai suburban.

Future Projects following-:

1) Children home (Residential Children Home) for street children orphanage and needy children.

2) Ambulance service for poor, needy patients.

3) Vocational Computer training for needy children and youth who living in community.

4) Advocacy Program in the community.

5) Setting up of Children’s Primary & Secondary level school for poor underprivileged children.
